About Craig Hodges
Craig Hodges has gone down as one of the greatest three-point shooters in the NBA history. While with the Chicago Bulls, he won three consecutive Three-Point Shootouts from 1990-92. Hodges has Three-Point Shootout records with 19 shots made consecutively and with 25 points scored in a single round. He competed in eight Three-Point Shootouts overall. Hodges spent ten seasons in the league and led the NBA in three-point shooting percentage three times. Hodges was part of Michael Jordan's first two championship teams with the Bulls. The San Diego Clippers originally selected him in the third round of the 1982 NBA Draft. After two seasons with the Clippers, Hodges spent four years with the Milwaukee Bucks and part of one season with the Phoenix Suns before joining Chicago. After leaving the Bulls, he played for a variety of other teams outside the NBA. Hodges also went into coaching, starting as the head coach at Chicago State. He had a lengthy tenure as an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers and won two NBA championships. Hodges has also coached in the NBA D-League.
