About Dan Bailey
Dan Bailey is an NFL kicker who currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to his time in the NFL, Bailey was a four-year starter at Oklahoma State University. During his freshman season at OSU, Bailey made 20 extra points but only two field goals. His next three years would be great, as he would go on to become one of the most accurate kickers in the Big 12 conference. During his 2010 senior season, Bailey nailed 24 of 28 field goals with 65 extra points, netting him the Lou Groza award as the nation’s best kicker. Following his graduation, Bailey entered the 2011 NFL Draft where he went undrafted, eventually signing with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent. As a rookie, Bailey would have one of the best kicking seasons in Cowboy history, making 32-37 field goals, a Cowboy record. In four seasons with the Cowboys, Bailey made 114 of 127 field goals, making him statistically the most accurate kicker in NFL history.
