About A.J. McCarron
A.J.McCarron led the Alabama Crimson Tide during one of the greatest stretches in program history.McCarron won three national titles at Alabama, including back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013 as the starter.Only seven quarterbacks in college football history have won consecutive titles and McCarron became the only one to do so in the BCS era.In 2013, he won the Maxwell Award and finished runner-up to Jameis Winston for the Heisman Trophy. McCarron holds the Alabama single-season and career records for touchdown passes and finished 45-4 as a starter.He played in potentially the greatest period for quarterbacks in SEC history and was a two-time all-conference second-team pick.After his storied college career, the Cincinnati Bengals selected him in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.McCarron played eight seasons in the NFL and currently stars for the St. Louis Battlehawks of the XFL. He is a Mobile, Alabama native and attended St. Paulâs Episcopal School. He is married to model and noted Internet sensation Katherine Webb-McCarron.
