About Danny Morrison
Danny Morrison is the Executive Director of the Charlotte Sports Foundation. He was president of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers for nine years. During Morrison's tenure, the Panthers made an appearance in Super Bowl 50. Morrison got his start in sports administration with Wofford College in 1985 as the Athletic Director. In 1997, Morrison was promoted to the school’s Senior Vice President, leaving the school in 2001 to serve as commissioner of the Southern Conference. Morrison would serve in this role for four years, leaving in 2005 to become the Athletic Director of Texas Christian University. Morrison worked at this job for until 2009, when he left the school to become the President of the Panthers. After leaving the Panthers, he served as a sports and entertainment professor at the University of South Carolina.
