About Dansby Swanson
Dansby Swanson has established himself as one of the best shortstops in baseball. Swanson made his major league debut on August 17th with the Atlanta Braves. He hit .302 with three home runs and 17 RBI over the remainder of the season. That previous July, Swanson was invited to the All-Star Futures Game. The Arizona Diamondbacks originally made him the top overall pick of the 2015 MLB Draft. Swanson was a standout college baseball star at Vanderbilt. In 2015, he was a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. As a junior, Swanson helped lead the Commodores to a College World Series win and was named Most Outstanding Player.
