About Darren Carrington
Darren Carrington is a Bronx, New York native and played seven seasons in the National Football League with the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders from 1989 to 1996. During that span he was one of the top safeties in the league, tallying 22 interceptions with one touchdown and appearing in Super Bowl XXIX with the Chargers and Super Bowl XXIV with the Denver Broncos. Carrington is a 1984 graduate of James Monroe High School and now enjoys watching his son play football at the University of Oregon. Since his retirement he has devoted his time and life to his family and now works as a Marriage & Family Parenting pastor for The Rock Church in San Diego.
