About Daunte Culpepper
Daunte Culpepper played ten seasons in the National Football league with the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions from 1999 to 2009 before retiring with the Sacramento Mountains in the United Football League in 2010. Culpepper joined the Vikings as a first round pick in 1999 out of the University of Central Florida. During his four-year career with the Golden Knights he threw for 11,412 yards and 84 touchdowns and also rushed for 1,020 yards and 24 touchdowns for a total of 12,459 all purpose yards and 104 total touchdowns, which ranks him 6th all-time in NCAA history. During his NFL career he earned Pro Bowl honors three times and earned All-NFC honors twice in 2000 and 2004. Culpepper retired with 24,153 career passing yards in the NFL with 149 passing touchdowns and 2,652 rushing yards to go along with 34 rushing touchdowns. For his contributions to the Minnesota franchise he was named as one of the 50 Greatest Vikings.
