About Delone Carter
Delonte Carter joined the Indianapolis Colts as a fourth round pick in 2011 after a standout career as a running back at Syracuse University. Carter joined the Syracuse Orange out of Copley High School in Copley, Ohio and rushed for 1,233 yards on 231 carries during his senior year in route to helping Syracuse to a win the 2010 Pinstripe Bowl. During that game he rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Carter left Syracuse as their all-time rushing leader with 3,104 careerrushing yards and 24 total touchdowns. After signing a pro contract with the Colts in 2011 he rushed for 377 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie and went on to play two seasons in Indianapolis. He’d go on to see time with the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013 and 2014. At 5’9, 230 pounds, Carter provides speed and power at the running back position and is able to get tough yards when his team needs them most.
