About Derwin James
Derwin James was one of the top defensive players in the country during his career at Florida State. He became a starter as a true freshman and recorded 91 tackles. James went down due to an injury in 2016, but came back to total 84 tackles in 2017. He was named to the All-ACC first-team and received several All-American honors. Coming out of high school, James was considered the top defensive back in the country and a consensus five-star prospect.
