About Dick Stockton
Dick Stockton’s broadcasting career began in 1974 when the Boston Celtics hired him to be their play-by-play man. Over the years he served in that role for many teams, including the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Dolphins and Boston Red Sox. He’s since graduated to NBC and CBS, announcing NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games to major audiences around the world. He’s also served as a color commentator for college football and basketball games on Fox and MLB postseason games on TBS. A native of Queens, New York, Stockton’s personality and knowledge match his wit, and he’s always right on point during games. A true professional in the booth, he’s one of the greatest of all-time, and is one of the true voices of American sports in the modern era.
