About Drew Doughty
Drew Doughty is an NHL defenseman who currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings. Prior to his time in the NHL, Doughty played in the Ontario Hockey League for three seasons with the Guelph Storm. During his time in the OHL, Doughty was considered one of the top defenseman in North American, racking up multiple junior awards and earning the Max Kaminsky Trophy in 2008 as the OHL’s top defenseman. Later that year, Doughty was selected second overall in the 2008 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings, and he has played with the team ever since. With the Kings, Doughty has played in 442 games, earning 221 points and helping the Kings win two Stanley Cup Championships in 2012 and 2014. Doughty has emerged as a top defender in the NHL, and has helped transform the Kings into a perennial contender for the Stanley Cup.
