Elias Diaz is an All-Star catcher for the San Diego Padres. Diaz was named to his first All-Star team with the Colorado Rockies in 2023 and collected the game-winning hit en route to being named MVP of the game. Diaz originally joined the Rockies in 2020 after having brief major league stints with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2015-19. Pittsburgh first signed him as an international free agent in 2008.
