About Elvis Andrus
Elvis Andrus is a shortstop for the Oakland Athletics after a lengthy and successful tenure with the Texas Rangers. Andrus spent 12 years the Rangers, earning All-Star selections in 2010 and 2012. He is also Texas' all-time stolen base leader. Andrus originally became the team's starting shortstop at the age of 20 in 2009. He was considered one of baseball's top prospects while in the Atlanta Braves organization prior to a 2007 trade.
