About Adrian Gonzalez
Adrian Gonzalezwas one of the best first basemen of his generation, both at the plate and with the glove. Gonzalez was a five-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner.
After having an outstanding high school career with a .312 average and 17 home runs, Adrian was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2000 however his major league break came a few years later as is common with most MLB players. In 2004, he got his shot to play with the Texas Rangers, however he was immediately traded and saw immediate success with his newfound San Diego Padres.
