About Emmanuel Clase
Emmanuel Close is a star pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians who has developed into one of the best closers in baseball. Close first took over closing responsibilities in Cleveland in 2021, going 6-6 in save opportunities in August on the way to winning American League Reliever of the Month honors. Close originally came to the Guardians via trade after making his major league debut for the Texas Rangers in 2019.
