About Eran Ganot
Eran Ganot has a lengthy history with the Hawaii program and took the school to great heights in his first season as head coach. The Rainbow Warriors went 28-6 in 2015-16, capturing the Big West Conference regular season and postseason championships. The 13-seeded UH squad earned a huge upset victory over California in the opening round of the NCAA Touranament. For his efforts, Ganot was named 2016 Big West Conference Coach of the Year. Prior to arriving back at Hawaii, he spent five seasons as an assitant coach at Saint Mary's, a school where he originally got his start as a volunteer coach. During his tenure there, the Gaels made two NCAA Tournaments and won at least 25 games each season. In his first stint with Hawaii, Ganot was Director of Basketball Operations during the 2006-07 season and an assistant from 2007-2010. In addition to his coaching excellence, he had a distinguished college playing career at Division III Swarthmore College. Ganot was a four-year letterman and two-time team captain.
