About Eric Ebron
Eric Ebron is a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his senior season of his high school career, Eric Ebron recorded 28 receptions for 682 yards and 10 TDs as a TE and on defense recorded 68 tackles with 13.5 sacks. Rated the 21st TE in his class, Ebron chose to stay close to home and play for University of North Carolina. As a sophomore, Ebron played in 11 games for the Tar Heels and set school records for receptions (40) and receiving yards (625) for a tight end. In his senior season, Ebron broke his own records by recording 62 receptions for 973 yards along with 3 TDs on his way to becoming a finalist for the John Mackay Award for the nation's top tight end. He chose to pass up on his final season with the Tar Heels and in the 2014 NFL Draft he was selected 10th overall by the Detroit Lions. Ebron spent his first four NFL seasons with the Lions before joining the Indianapolis Colts in 2018. He had a breakout first campaign with the Colts, earning Pro Bowl honors after catching 66 passes for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. After two years in Indy, Ebron signed with the Steelers in 2020.
