About Fran Fraschilla
Fran Fraschilla is an American basketball commentator and former college basketball coach. Fraschilla was a college basketball coach for 23 years and has coached for Manhattan College from 1992-1996, St. Johns University from 1996- 1998 and University of New Mexico from 1999-2002. Fraschilla’s overall coaching record was 176-99. Fraschilla has had three NCAA Division I Tournament Appearances in 1993,1995, and 1998. He has also had five NIT Appearances in 1994, 1996, 2000, 2001 and 2002. In 1993 and 1995, Fraschilla took Manhattan to the MAAC Regular Season Championships and in 1993 they went to the MAAC Tournament Championships. Fraschilla won MAAC Coach of the Year in 1995. Fraschilla currently serves as a game analyst on mostly Big 12 action and he is a studio analyst for ESPN college broadcasting programming. Fraschilla also covers the NBA Draft and focuses on foreign players as well as the FIBA Basketball World Cup and he has covered the NBA and high school basketball.
