About Frank Kaminsky
Frank Kaminsky is a college basketball legend and a longtime pro. Kaminsky spent his first four seasons with the Charlotte Hornets after being the ninth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
His draft stock skyrocketed in his final collegiate season at Wisconsin.Kaminsky was the National Player of the Year, Big 10 Player of the Year, and a consensus first-team All-American in 2015. With averages of 18.8 points and 8.2 rebounds, his game grew leaps and bounds all across the board.The Badgers finished as the national runner-ups after a Final Four run the previous season.
Kaminsky had the first of his two first-team All-Big 10 honors as a junior.That season, he set the single-game scoring record with 43 points against North Dakota.Kaminsky also came up big in the 2014 NCAA Tournament, being named Most Outstanding Player of the West Regional after scoring 28 points and adding 11 rebounds in an Elite Eight overtime win over Arizona.
He was used sparingly in his first two seasons at Wisconsin, but worked hard to develop into one of the nation’s top players. Kaminsky played his prep ball at Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois.
