Frank Trigg

Frank Trigg is a mixed martial artist, color commentator, pro wrestler and TV host. As a child, Trigg developed and early interest in martial arts, but it wasn’t until he was 12 that he discovered his grift for wrestling. Jack was recruited to wrestle at the University of Oklahoma. In 1995, Trigg began studying judo with Patrick Burris and it was during this time that Trigg earned his black belt and was introduced to MMA. After graduating from Oklahoma, Trigg took a coaching position with the school while he continued to compete on the amateur and professional levels. Trigg fought at Pride 8 in 1999 and defeated Fabiano Iha with a TKO. Trigg qualified as an Olympics Trials Finalist in wrestling in 2000. From 2001-2002, Trigg joined with the World Fighting Alliance where he held the WFA welterweight title and was undefeated. In 2003, Trigg joined the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In 2008, Trigg was an analyst and on-screen character in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. In May 2009, Trigg resigned with the UFC after they agreed on a four-fight deal.
