Gary Miller is a sportscaster and radio host. Miller attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he served as the sports director at the campus radio and television stations. Miller’s first job came in 1978 when he served as the Sports Director at WSAV-TV. He then transferred to CNN and Headline News in 1982 where he spent eight as part of their sports coverage. Miller worked for ESPN from 1990 to 2004 where he served as an anchor on SportsCenter, the host of ESPN’s Baseball Tonight and a host of Up Close before it was cancelled in 2001. Miller’s career was interrupted by an incident on October 12, 197 when he was covering the American League Championship Series. Miller served as a host of West Coast Bias until November 2006. The show was a daily sports talk show on the radio. Miller currently serves as the anchor for the CBS Corporation-owned duopoly of KCBS and KCAL where he works mostly nighttime newscasts.
