About Glen Davis
Before he became a star in the NBA, Glen “Big Baby” Davis was a star in his home state of Louisiana. In 2004 he led LSU Laboratory School to a state championship and then headed to LSU and earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors in 2005. In 2006 he led LSU to the Final Four and was named SEC Player of the Year after scoring 18.6 points and 9.7 rebounds a game. He followed that up with another impressive season in 2007 which set him up to be selected 35th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft. In his first NBA season with the Celtics in 2007-08 he helped lead Boston to an NBA Championship. He’d go on to become one of the Celtics most popular players from 2007 to 2011, and would use a big year in 2011 to land a contract with the Orlando Magic, where he remained until signing with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2013.
