About Glen Gulutzan
Glen Gulutzan played 16-seasons in the WHL, CWUAA, WCHL, IHL, FinD1 and WCHL prior to beginning his coaching career as a players assistant in the Western Collegiate Hockey League in 2002. In 2003 he took over the reigns as the head coach of the Las Vegas Wranglers in the East Coast Hockey League and led them to five playoff appearances in six years with 254 wins to just 122 losses. In 2009 he made the jump to the American Hockey League to head coach the Texas Stars, the primary affiliate of the Dallas Stars. He coached Texas for two seasons before being promoted to Dallas in 2011 and earning his first head-coaching gig in the NHL. In 2013 the Vancouver Canucks tapped him as an assistant. He also was the head coach of the Calgary Flames for two seasons.
