About Gretchen Bleiler
Gretchen Bleiler is the face of American halfpipe snowboarding and a four-time Winter X Games gold medalist. Since turning pro at age 16 in 1996 she has been at the top of the snowboarding world, landing huge tricks on the halfpipe and revolutionizing the way fans view the sport. The first to ever land the Crippler 540 in person, Bleiler is known for her fearlessness on the course and ability to come up big when it matters most. In 2003 she won the Grand Prix, U.S. Open of snowboarding and the Triple Crown of Snowboarding championships, putting her on the map. Since that time she’s signed huge endorsement deals with Oakley and K2 snowboarding and also become a decorated female athlete, collecting several awards from multiple publications and sports outlets including being named Female Snowboarder of the Year at FUEL TV’s inaugural Action Sports Awards in 2006 and Colorado Female Athlete of the Year in 2004.
