About Howard Kellman
Howard Kellman is a radio sportscaster who has been announcing Indianapolis Indians games for over four decades. Kellman graduated Brooklyn College and shortly after started his broadcasting career for St. Johns University Basketball. In 1974, Kellman joined the Indians, who are now the Triple-A affiliate of the MLB’s Pittsburgh Pirates, and he has remained with the team ever since. He is now known as “The Voice of the Indians,” and his play by play radio announcing has earned him many accolades throughout his 39-year career. Along with this career with the Indians, Kellman has worked for brief stints with the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he has remained with the Indians throughout his career.
