About Jack Hughes
Jack Hughes is one of the biggest young stars in hockey. The New Jersey Devils made Hughes the top overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He has been known for years as one of the brightest prospects in American hockey, Hughes spent two years with the U.S. National Development Team and was named the 2018 David Tyler Junior Player of the Year. He was named MVP of the 2018 IIHF World U18 Championships after leading Team USA to a silver medal. Hughes was born in Orlando, Florida, but honed his hockey skills growing up in Mississauga, Ontario.
