Jalen Smith currently plays for the Chicago Bulls. He played college basketball for the Maryland Terrapins. As a freshman during the 2018-19 season, he averaged 11.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. He averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game as a sophomore. At the end of the regular season, Smith was named to the First Team All-Big Ten, the Big Ten All-Defensive Team, and a Third Team All-American. After the 2019-20 season, Smith declared for the 2020 NBA draft and was picked 10th overall by the Phoenix Suns.
