About Jameis Winston
Jameis Winston is one of the most accomplished college quarterbacks of all time.Winston was the youngest Heisman Trophy winner ever, finished 29-1 in his college career, and led Florida State University to the 2014 BCS National Championship.
Winston exploded onto the scene as a redshirt freshman in 2013, completing 25 of 27 passes and scoring five total touchdowns in his first start at Pittsburgh.He led FSU from behind in the title game and won Offensive MVP honors as they beat Auburn 34-31. His 4,057 yards and 40 passing touchdowns were ACC and FBS freshman records.
Winston carried the Noles to another perfect regular season in 2014, leading the team to several comeback victories and a 34-31 win over Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship. FSU’s bid for back-to-back titles would come up short when they lost to Oregon in the first-ever College Football Playoff.Winston was also an accomplished closer for the Seminoles’ baseball team.
