About Jared Tomich
Jared Tomich is a native of St. John, Indiana and was one of the stars for the Lake Central High School football team that brought home the 1993 state championship title. After his days at Central he headed to the University of Nebraska as a walk-on and eventually worked his way into a starting role for the Corn Huskers. In his last two years at Nebraska he was named a two-time All-American in 1995 and 1996 and became one of the premier defensive ends in the game. In 1997 he was selected in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints and would go on to star in New Orleans for four seasons prior to heading north to the Green Bay Packers for one season. After his career came to an end in 2002 he headed back home and is now one of the most sought after speakers in the region.
