Jayson Williams Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Jayson Williams is a retired professional basketball player of the ‘90’s. He spent the first few seasons of his professional career with the Philadelphia 76ers before spending the remainder of the decade with the New Jersey Nets. As a power forward and center standing 6’10”, it was not very surprising when Williams was selected in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft. Prior to his professional career, Williams excelled on high school and college basketball teams at Christ the King RHS in New York City and at St. John’s University. While he has had several run-ins with the law over the course of his lifetime, Williams will always be remembered for his NBA career total of just under 3,500 points and just over 3,500 rebounds. He last played for the Idaho Stampede of the Continental Basketball Association in 2005 and also went on to author a book about basketball entitled Loose Balls. It was announced in 2012 that Williams was authoring another book aimed at inspiring others to overcome the childhood obstacles Williams faced that led him to his run-ins with the law.
