About Jimmy Rogers
Jimmy Rogers is the head football coach at Iowa State University and a rising star in the profession. With deep Midwest roots, Rogers boasts a 33-9 (.786) head coaching record over three seasons, including a perfect 15-0 and FCS national championship in 2023 at South Dakota State, where he coached for 12 years, rising to defensive coordinator for the 2022 title team and earning the Eddie Robinson Award. After SDSU's 2024 semifinals run, he took over Washington State in December 2024, guiding the Cougars to a 6-6 debut season and bowl berth amid roster turnover. Rogers spent his early career as SDSU's linebackers coach (2013-2018), developing 100-tackle standouts annually. On December 5, 2025, he succeeded Matt Campbell, who had held the position for a decade.
