About Johnathan Franklin
Johnathan Franklin had a standout career as a running back at UCLA. He was a four-year starter for the Bruins, rushing for over 1,000 yards twice in a season. Franklin is UCLA's all-time leading rusher, with 4,403 yards in his tenure. As a senior, he rushed for 1,734 yards and 13 touchdowns. Franklin was a first-team All-American and second-team All-Pac 12 selection in 2012. The Green Bay Packers selected him in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Franklin had the highlight of rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3. Unfortunately, he suffered a career-ending neck injury later in the year. Franklin announced his retirement and became an intern for the Packers. He went on to Notre Dame to work as an administrator for student welfare and development. Franklin is now an executive with the Los Angeles Rams.
