About Jon Daniels
Jon Daniels is the former president of baseball operations and general manager of the Texas Rangers He guided the organization for 17 years and led them to two World Series births. Daniels was originally hired in 2005 and, at 28 years old, was the youngest GM in baseball. In 2010, Daniels was named Baseball America Major League Executive of the Year. He was originally hired as the assistant of baseball operations in 2002. Daniels career began in 2001 as an intern with the Colorado Rockies. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
