Jonathan Horton

Jonathan Horton grew up climbing, jumping off, and hanging on things in Houston, Texas, so naturally he became one of the best gymnasts in United States history. He made his senior debut at age 17 at the 2002 United States National Championships and placed first on both still rings and vault, while also capturing a silver in the all around and floor exercise. The following year he joined the USA team to capture a bronze medal in the team competition at the 2003 Pan American Games. He’d go on to capture consecutive gold medals in the All-Around at the 2006 and 2007 World Cup in route to winning a silver medal in the Horizontal Bar and a bronze medal in the team competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. During his career he has become the most decorated United States male gymnast in history, bringing home eight gold medals, 10 silver medals, and six bronze medals at the United States National Championships from 2002 to 2014.
