About Joseph Fauria
Joseph Fauria is an Encino, California native and played his college football at Notre Dame and UCLA before heading to the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Detroit Lions. During his high school days at Crespi Carmelite he earned the right to call himself the 7th ranked tight end in the nation. At 6’8, 250 pounds he was a bruiser at the wide out position and made big time catches when they mattered most. After graduating from highs school he matriculated to Notre Dame University and then headed back home to UCLA to play for his home state Bruins. During his college career he was a top tight end in the country, catching 88 passes for 1,139 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. After not being selected in the 2013 NFL Draft he continued to work hard and earned a spot on the Detroit Lions roster. Thus far in his young NFL career he has caught 24 passes for 281 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
