About Josh Davis
Josh Davis was a two-time American Olympian and three-time gold medalist. Davis captured his golds in 1996 as a member of the 4x100-meter freestyle, 4x200-meter freestyle, and 4x100-meter medley relay teams. He came back as Team USA’s captain in 2000 and won two silvers in the 4x100-meter freestyle and 4x200-meter freestyle relays. Each Olympics, Davis also competed in the 200-meter freestyle as an individual and finished seventh and fourth respectively. The San Antonio, Texas native swam collegiately at the University of Texas and is in the school’s Hall of Honor. Davis is also a member of the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame. He actively speaks to groups today telling them how to balance aspirations and achieve goals. Davis speaks to faith-based groups as well about the role God plays in his life. He also has been one of the most active past-Olympians when it comes to coaching and is the Director of the Mutual of Omaha BREAKOUT Swim Clinic Tour.
