About Jovan Haye
Jovan Haye played six seasons in the National Football League as a defensive end with the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, and Detroit Lions from 2005 to 2011. He joined the Panthers in 2005 as a sixth round pick out of Vanderbilt University. Prior to heading to Vanderbilt he starred at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned first team All-Star honors and graduated with a 4.5 GPA. While playing for the Commodores he registered 149 tackles, 10.5 sacks and an interception, and was known both for his tenacity on the field and his dedication to his academics in the classroom. During his NFL career he was a hard worker and a valuable teammate and leader both on and off the field. He retired in 2011 with 185 career tackles and 6.5 career sacks.
