Jurrangelo Cijntje

Jurrangelo Cijntje is a rare ambidextrous pitcher in the Seattle Mariners' system whose ability to throw with both arms has captured attention across baseball. Cijntje was originally born in the Netherlands, but was ultimately raised in Curacao. He began his throwing journey by throwing right-handed at a young age, but he is now able to throw a mid 90s fastball from both arms. Drafted 15th overall in 2024 out of Mississippi State, he’s currently splitting his High-A workload between starting right-handed on Saturdays and pitching relief left-handed mid-week. With his combination of velocity, versatility, and sharp mechanics, Cijntje stands out as one of the sport’s most tantalizing prospects.
