About Katie Hoff
Katie Hoff qualified for her first Olympic games in 2004 at the age of 15. A phenom in the pool at the 200-meter and 400-meter distances, she lived up to the hype throughout her career, winning seven World Championships in the 200-meter medley, 400-meter medley, and 4x200-meter medley from 2005 to 2011, a gold medal, three silver medals and a bronze medal at the short course World Championships from 2004 to 2010, and four gold medals and two silver medals at the Pan Pacific Championships from 2006 to 2010. On the Olympic stage she was a star, winning a silver medal in the 400-meter freestyle and bronze medals in the 400-meter medley and 4x200-meter freestyle at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. Hoff currently trains at T2 Aquatics in Naples, Florida and attends the University of Miami as a full-time student. She continues to train in the pool with the hopes of returning to the 2016 Olympic games, where she will no doubt represent the United States with honor and pride, as she has her entire career.
