About Kendrick Bourne
Kendrick Bourne is an NFL wide receiver for the New England Patriots. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, he played college football at Eastern Washington University alongside Cooper Kupp, forming one of the most prolific receiving duos in FCS history. Despite a slow 4.68 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, Bourne went undrafted in 2017 but signed with the San Francisco 49ers as a free agent. He spent four seasons with the 49ers (2017-2020), with his best year being 2018, when he led the team’s receivers with 42 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns.
Bourne signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Patriots in 2021. He had a career-best season, recording 55 receptions for 800 yards and five touchdowns. After being placed on injured reserve and missing the last nine games of 2023, Bourne was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list in Week 5 of 2024 and ended the season with 28 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown in 12 games.
Off the field, Bourne and his wife are active in community initiatives, including events for foster care awareness and school donations through the Patriots Foundation.
