About Kevin Garnett
Kevin Garnett is one of the greatest players in NBA history and an icon for a generation of fans. Garnett was a 15-time All-Star, four-time first-team All-NBA pick, and the 2004 NBA MVP. In 2008, he was the Defensive Player of the Year as his new franchise, the Boston Celtics, won the NBA title. Garnett was a trailblazer for players to come straight out of high school in the 1990s. The fifth overall pick of the 1995 NBA Draft became an immediate success with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Garnett was a star in the Twin Cities for the first twelve seasons of his career. He scored over 20 points a game for the final nine seasons with the TWolves and led the NBA in rebounding in each of his final four campaigns. After a two year stint with the Brooklyn Nets, Garnett is now back in Minnesota to end his career on a high note in the city that gave him NBA life. In addition to all his professional accolades, he also won a gold medal with Team USA in 2000. As Garnett moves into the future, he has aspirations of an ownership or management role with the Timberwolves.
