About Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson is a Washington State University who earned First-Team All-Pac-10 honors in consecutive seasons in 2010 and 2011 before heading to the NBA as a 1st Round Pick of the Golden State Warriors in 2011. During his career at Washington State he averaged 17.9 points per game with a career high average of 21.6 points per game in 2010-11. Since joining the Warriors in 2011 he has been one of the young stars that has led them back to league prominence. During his first season he scored 12.5 points per game and earned NBA All-Rookie First-Team honors and has since upped his average to 16.6 points per game in 2013 and 18.4 points per game in 2014. During the 2014 season he teamed up with Stephen Curry to set an NBA record with 484 combined three-pointers in a season. After his third season in the league he was selected to represented the United States at the World Cup in Spain and helped the stars and stripes to a Gold Medal performance.
