About Kon Knueppel
Kon Knueppel is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets, selected fourth overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. Standing 6'7" and weighing 217 pounds, he plays as a small forward. Knueppel played one season at Duke University, averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, with a 47.9% field goal percentage and 40.6% from three-point range. His standout performance earned him the 2025 ACC Tournament MVP, All-ACC Second Team, and ACC All-Freshman honors. Before Duke, he was a five-star recruit, ranked No. 17 in the 2024 class by ESPN, and led Wisconsin Lutheran High School to a state championship in 2023, earning Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year.
