Kool-Aid McKinstry Speaker and Booking Agent Information

The New Orleans Saints drafted cornerback Ga’Quincy “Kool‑Aid” McKinstry as their 41st overall pick during the 2024 NFL Draft. His grandmother gave him the nickname “Kool‑Aid” because of his bright smile which he later adopted as his college name and secured an NIL partnership and Black Cherry Blitz flavor deal with Kool‑Aid.

During his time at Pinson Valley High in Pinson Alabama he received USA Today Defensive Player of the Year and Alabama Mr. Football awards in 2020 while demonstrating excellence in both defensive and receiving roles. During his time at the University of Alabama McKinstry played every game from 2021 to 2023 and received two first-team All-SEC awards and first-team All-American recognition in 2023 while also serving as a punt return specialist.

His physical play and football knowledge along with his ability to press-cover opponents made him the SEC leader in passes defended during 2022 while he recorded 23 pass breakups throughout his two seasons. The Alabama Pro Day performance impressed scouts despite his foot injury at the Combine because he demonstrated his intelligence and press coverage skills.

During his first year in the NFL (2024) McKinstry recorded 42 tackles and six passes deflected as he learned to play at the professional level. In June 2025 McKinstry organized his inaugural youth football camp for ages 7-17 at Pinson Valley High in his hometown. His positive attitude and willingness to learn stem from the support of his family which shapes his personality.
