About LaMichael James
LaMichael James is a professional football player who plays running back for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. James attended college at the University of Oregon where he played for the Duck’s football team from 2009 to 2011. James became the Duck’s starting running back in 2009 after starter LeGarrette Blount was suspended. On December 7, 2009, James was named Pac-10 Offensive Freshman of the Year. James won the Pac-12 Championship Game MVP on December 2, 2011. On January 2, 2012, James helped the Ducks beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. While in college, James also ran track and field. James was selected 64th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. During his rookie year with the 49ers, James received his NFL debut in week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. James scored his first career touchdown during the 2012 NFC Championship. James requested his release early during the 2014 season and was officially released on September 8, 2014. The Miami Dolphins signed James to their practice squad on September 30, 2014 and he was promoted to the active roster on November 10, 2014.
