About Larry Scott
In 2009, Larry Scott became commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference. Scott has led the conference through significant changes. Under his tenure, the Pac-12 has expanded to 12 teams, added a conference championship game and established the Pac-12 Network. In addition to adding the network platform, Scott has also negotiated record-breaking media rights deals. He has thought outside of the box, establishing Big 12 Global in 2011. They have sent conference teams in football to Australia and China in basketball. Before taking his position at the Pac-12, Scott was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Women's Tennis Association. He gained a background in tennis as a professional player that won one doubles title. Scott also spent time as the President and COO of ATP Properties.
