About Les Snead
Les Snead is the general manager of the Los Angeles Rams. Snead has been GM since 2012. Due to a trade of the second overall pick in his first NFL Draft with the Rams, he has been able to remake the roster quickly with younger talent. Particularly, Snead has been able to find defensive stalwarts like Alec Ogletree and Aaron Donald. Since then, he has been able to pick potential future cornerstones on offense like Todd Gurley and Jared Goff. Before joining the Rams, Snead spent 13 seasons rising up the chain of command with the Atlanta Falcons. He started as a pro scout and eventually became director of pro personnel. Snead's first front office job in the NFL was in the pro scouting department for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He helped an expansion franchise go on a magical run that was capped by an AFC Championship Game appearance in the team's second year of existence. Snead was a college tight end at Auburn University. After his playing days, he served as a graduate assistant and administrative assistant of football operations for the Tigers.
