About Mac McClung
Mac McClung had a meteoric rise to basketball celebrity. McClung had a total of two games played in his NBA career when the Philadelphia 76ers called him up from their G-League affiliate in mid-February. That week, he participated in and won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend. McClung was the first player ever selected to participate while still being in the G-League. Before going undrafted, he spent three years in college basketball, averaging double figures in each of his two seasons at Georgetown and for a final year at Texas Tech.
