About Mark Ingram
Mark Ingram is a retired three-time Pro Bowl running back and one of the all-time greats in Alabama football history. Ingram contributed to the league's top rushing offense with the Baltimore Ravens and ran for over 1,000 yards in 2016 and 2017 with the New Orleans Saints. In 2014, Ingram ran for 964 yards and nine touchdowns, both then career highs.That performance got Ingram selected for his first Pro Bowl team.The Saints originally drafted him 28th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Ingram had a storied career at the University of Alabama. During his sophomore year, he became the first Heisman Trophy winner in school history. Ingram set a Crimson Tide record with 1,658 rushing yards and also scored 17 touchdowns.That season, Alabama won the BCS Championship and Ingram was the Offensive MVP of the game. He was also a unanimous All-American, SEC Offensive Player of the Year, and a first-team All-SEC pick.Ingram played high school football in Michigan and was considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com.
