About Mark Lamping
Mark Lamping is currently the president of the Jacksonville Jaguars, having been so since February of 2012. Prior to this title, Lamping had a variety of other similarly prestigious jobs. While starting off as a prominent sports-marketing executive after graduating from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Lamping went on to become the CEO of the MetLife Stadium, home to the New York Giants and New York Jets football teams, and later the president of the MLB’s St. Louis Cardinals for fourteen years. Currently, as president of the Jaguars, Lamping’s role encompasses all the non-football facets of operating the team. He is responsible for overseeing all parts of the Jaguars’ stadium, including construction, operation, and development, along with business operations, sponsorship sales and marketing. In addition, he is also currently the nonexecutive director of Fulham, an English association football team owned by the current owner of the Jaguars, Shahid Khan.
